Picked up the DJI RC Pro and want to pair it with your DJI Air 2S drone? Well now you can with the latest v03.01.0500 firmware update for the DJI RC Pro. Follow these 3 simple steps to get your RC Pro and Air 2S paired up and take to the skies with newfound levels of creative control!
1. Charge your Battery
Before you begin, it's important to make sure that both your DJI Air 2S battery and DJI RC Pro are charged up and ready to go. Unfold the drone’s legs and set it up to start as per usual. Power on your drone and the RC Pro by tapping then holding their respective power buttons.
2. Navigating DJI Fly
Once the Air 2S and RC Pro are powered on, launch the DJI Fly app on the controller. From here, simply navigate to the connection guide in the bottom right hand corner of the Fly app.
Tap camera view in the top corner of the app followed by the three dots to open the settings menu. Following this, tap control to open up the controls menu and scroll to the bottom of the menu and hit re-link aircraft.
3. Confirm Connection
After you’ve made your way through DJI Fly’s menu system and hit re-link aircraft, simply tap and hold the Air 2S’s power button for four seconds until its lights begin blinking. This indicates that the drone has entered pairing mode and is searching for a remote controller to connect with.
Once in this mode the drone should only take a few seconds to pair. This will be confirmed when the Air 2S’s camera feed is displayed on the RC Pro display. From here, you’re ready to fly!
If the one minute connection window expires or your Air 2S fails to connect with the controller, simply repeat steps 2 and 3 until they pair successfully.
