What’s new you ask? Well…pretty much everything. From the overall drone design to the camera to the way you experience flight, the Mini 3 Pro brings all-new levels of PRO to the DJI Mini series. Let’s dive right in!
Complete Redesign
DJI went right back to the drawing board for the DJI Mini 3 Pro, engineering a whole new design from the ground up to pack in more show-stopping features whilst staying within the ultra-versatile sub-250 g weight. As such, the first thing you’ll notice about the Mini 3 pro is its redesigned body and form factor, featuring a new gimbal camera, bigger, more aerodynamic propellers and redesigned arms.
Don’t worry, this new design does keep a few key characteristics that users know and love including folding arms that are ideal for quick storage, the same familiar flight controls and the versatile sub-250 g weight that is ideal for transport and travel.
All-New Flight Experience
The DJI Mini 3 Pro also introduces a brand new remote controller solution; the DJI RC.
The Mini 3 Pro ships with the classic DJI RC-N1 remote controller pilots have known and loved since its debut with the DJI Mavic Air 2 by default. However, for those looking for a more convenient flight experience, the new DJI RC is here to help!
Featuring a built-in 5.5” touchscreen display, the DJI RC eliminates the need to use your smartphone to control your drone, offering an integrated solution for piloting the Mini 3 Pro. The DJI RC also features redesigned high-precision control sticks that are more tactile and allow pilots to achieve fine-tune drone control.

This means that DJI has been able to implement HDR (high dynamic range) recording for the first time ever on DJI Mini. Not only does the DJI Mini 3 Pro improve its camera and external features, it's also received a significant upgrade under the hood. The Mini 3 Pro now features O3 (OcuSync 3.0) HD video transmission. First appearing on the ultra-popular DJI Air 2S, O3 is a stable, reliable video transmission technology that allows pilots to control their drone and fly from up to 12 KM away. That’s right… 12KM!
More Flight Time
As per usual, a new drone means more flight time. The DJI Mini 3 Pro now features a maximum flight time of 34 minutes, the most ever on a DJI Mini drone.
Ever wish you could have just a little more flight time? Lucky for you the DJI Mini 3 Pro now supports two different Intelligent Flight Batteries, a first for a DJI drone.
Fly with the standard DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery for 34 minutes of flight or upgrade to the new DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery Plus for up to a whopping 47 minutes of flight time!
