Must Have Accessories for DJI FPV Goggles V2

The DJI FPV Goggles V2 is the latest headset from DJI and allows you to connect to DJI FPV Air Units as well as the DJI FPV Combo. These new goggles utilise the latest DJI Transmission System, OcuSync 3.0, which is a low-latency, high definition, long distance with superior strong anti-interference capabilities.

DJI FPV Goggles Battery

Price: $49

The DJI FPV Goggles V2 runs off the DJI FPV Goggles Battery which provides just 110 minutes of run time provided it is fully charged. Whilst this is a solid amount of run time, in real life the run time is less and the last thing you want is for the DJI FPV Goggles V2 to run out of juice when you are still flying. If you are thinking about using a power bank, DJI have unfortunately limited to the power to be either from the goggles battery or a XT60 battery. For non FPV builders and modifiers, this can be a great inconvenience so we highly recommend picking up an extra 1 or 2 DJI FPV Goggle Batteries. They also double up as great power banks for the FPV Remote Controller, Motion Controller and your Mobile Device as they have a USB-C port. This makes the batteries more than just for the DJI FPV Googles.

Caddx Polar Air Unit

Price: $329

The Caddx Polar Air Unit is now the replacement for the DJI FPV Air Unit and has a marginally better camera to view your FPV livestream. These Ait Units use the same DJI Air Unit Modules, updated to work with the DJI FPV Goggles V2, and are easy to mount, attached and use. With the air units, you will receive instructions on how to attach them to your FPV Frame along with how to link and pair them to your goggles. These are a fantastic option for those who are looking to attach an FPV camera to their FPV Racing Drone, RC Racing Car and even the DJI M600 Pro as a pilots camera. These air units are very versatile and are a great solution to providing the pilot/driver with a livestream.

DJI FPV Goggles Sponge Foam Padding

Price: $29

When using the DJI FPV Goggles V2 from stock, you might find the standard foam padding to be rather uncomfortable and leaks a fair bit of light, which is not ideal at all. To get a better experience with the DJI FPV Goggles, we suggest opting for the sponge foam padding which is significantly more comfortable and blocks more light than the default padding.

Portable Carrying Case for DJI FPV

Price: $89

The DJI FPV Combo unfortunately comes with no way to carry any of the components, leaving you with just a box. The carrying case for the DJI FPV is perfect for carrying the DJI FPV Combo and Fly More Kit components. The bag can hold the FPV Drone, Goggles V2, Remote Controller Mode 2, Motion Controller, 3 x Drone Batteries, 1 x Goggle Battery, AC power adapter and other accessories.

This case is shock-proof, scratch proof and effectively protects your equipment. It has the ability to be used as either a hand bag or a shoulder bag.

DJI FPV Safety Carrying Case

Price: $199

The DJI Safety Carrying Case is the way to carrying the DJI FPV Combo with precision cut slots for the DJI FPV Drone, Charger, Battery Charging Hub, Propeller, three batteries, goggles and more. The case itself is waterproof, shockproof and dustproof. Further, these cases are made through injection moulding, which makes the case very strong.

The waterproof rating is IP67 where the case can go 1 meter underwater without water entering the case. If you are planning any road-trips, 4x4, camping trips and more, this case is the way to go and will greatly add to your convenience.

DJI Lanyard

Price: $19

This one is more so for the remote controller rather than the goggles. This is something that we highly recommend to ensure the remote controller doesn't accidentally fall onto the ground in the event that the pilot gets nudged or drops the controller. There is a lanyard hole on the remote controller that suits the DJI Lanyard perfectly. It also means that the pilot is able to drop the controller and take off the DJI  FPV Goggles V2 with two hands, which is easier than lifting goggles up with one hand, placing the remote controller down and then taking it off. Therefore for only $19, you will get significantly added convenience and is 100% a recommended accessory to get with the DJI FPV Combo and DJI FPV Goggles V2.
