The New Phantom 4 Pro

The Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian is the latest addition to DJI's signature Phantom series. Retaining all the advanced flight and camera features of the Phantom 4 Pro, the P4P Obsidian also includes a new matte, dark gray shell, as well as a magnesium gimbal that has been electroplated and anti-fingerprint coated for the ultimate in renegade style.

The DJI P4P Obsidian has all the strong qualities of the Phantom 4 Pro. A  20 MP CMOS sensor shoots 4K 60 fps video, as well as Burst mode stills at 14 fps. An advanced FlightAutonomy system adds dual rear vision sensors and infrared sensing systems to sense obstacles in five directions and avoid them in four. New additions include a sleek, matte gray finish on the body and magnesium, electroplated gimbal with an anti-fingerprint coating.

The Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian retains the same shake-resistant foam case of the Phantom Series.

What's in the box?

Taking out everything from the case, you get the aircraft body, Remote Controller, SD card, battery charger, USB cable, USB adaptor, two sets of propellers, and the user manual.

The new Obsidian color is on everything but the cables! This sleek matte finish has a satisfyingly smooth, grainy feel.

Just like the original Phantom 4 Pro, Obsidian's quick-release propellers are spring-locked.

With all black propellers mounted on, this Phantom looks intimidating!


Appearance

Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian is the first drone in the Phantom lineup that comes in a dark hue. With such an eye-catching color, it's not hard to imagine how it looks while flying outdoors on a sunny day.


The aircraft is outfitted with sensors all over. The P4P Obsidian retains the whole obstacle avoidance system from P4P, sensing obstacles in five directions, and avoiding them in four.

A Powerful camera uses a 20 MP CMOS sensor and a mechanical shutter to eliminate rolling shutter distortion, recording video at up to 4K at 60 fps.
