Not all Ronin series accessories are cross-compatible, so we’ve put together this guide to help you navigate the accessory range and pick the right one for your gimbal. This guide covers accessories for five DJI Ronin models - DJI RS3, RS3 Mini, RS3 Pro, RS2 and RSC2.
DJI RS Series: What Accessories are Compatible?
As a general rule of thumb, products titled DJI R [XXXX] were released alongside the DJI RS2 and RSC2 gimbals released in late 2020. These accessories are generally compatible across the DJI Ronin range.
Products named DJI RS [XXXX] were released alongside the DJI RS3 series and also feature versatile compatibility across the Ronin range. Accessories specific to the DJI RS3 Mini will bear the moniker DJI RS Mini [XXXX].

Why Aren’t All Accessories Cross-Compatible?
In a perfect world, all RS series accessories would be cross compatible among each different RS model. However, due to the different shapes, sizes and capabilities of each different Ronin model, some accessories are only compatible with some stabilisers. For instance, the Ronin Base Expansion Kit is only compatible with the professional-orientated DJI RS3 Pro and DJI RS2 models.
What About DJI Ronin Camera Cables?
Luckily, cables aren’t nearly as complex as the rest of the DJI RS Series accessories. DJI R cables including Multi-Camera Control cables, Mini-HDMI cables and RSS Control cables are universally compatible across the DJI Ronin range. Just make sure to purchase the correct cable that corresponds to your camera’s ports.
