Announced during their March 2022 enterprise mega-event, DJI’s new Zenmuse H20N payload represents the latest and greatest in enterprise payload technology. The H20N brings advanced Starlight night vision technology to the industry-leading DJI Matrice 300 RTK for the first time. Keep reading to find out what this powerful new payload can do for you.

The latest member of the DJI Zenmuse family of enterprise drone payloads, the H20N is the most complete and versatile payload offering from DJI to date. Purpose built for nighttime operations, the DJI Zenmuse H20N features advanced Starlight night vision technology that yields clear images even in the darkest of environments. But that’s not all, the H20N also features a laser rangefinder and two powerful thermal imaging cameras.
Starlight Night Vision
Afraid of the dark? Well, say goodbye to your nightlight. With the H20’s new innovative Starlight Night Vision technology, each pixel captured is larger than normal cameras perceive, capturing an immense amount of light to deliver clearer images.
Starlight is featured on two of the H20N’s cameras; a 4MP zoom camera and a 2MP wide-angle camera with the super-strong low-light camera performance.

5 Integrated Imaging Systems
The versatile H20N payload features multiple imaging systems on the single attachment. The five onboard cameras are listed below:
2X Zoom Thermal Imaging Camera
The first of two ultra-versatile infrared zoom thermal imaging cameras, the 2X Zoom Camera can be used for thermal imaging with multiple thermal features including isotherms and R-JPEG capture. This camera sports a resolution of 640 x 512 and an equivalent focal length of 53mm.
8X Zoom Thermal Imaging Camera
The 8X zoom thermal imaging camera on the Zenmuse H20N can also be paired with the 2X zoom camera to provide up to 32X zoom imaging. This camera features the same 640 x 512 resolution as the 2X zoom camera but with an equivalent focal length of 196mm.

Wide-Angle Night Vision Camera
This wide-angle low-light camera uses Starlight technology to allow you to see the big picture, no matter how dark your surroundings are. Perfect for night time operations, the wide-angle night vision camera will help you execute operations without having to worry about light levels.
Night Vision Zoom Camera
With a 4MP Starlight Sensor, the H20N’s Night Vision Zoom Camera is capable of an incredible 20X optical zoom. Pair that with its digital zoom capabilities and a maximum hybrid zoom of 128X can be achieved, ideal for covering large areas quickly.
Laser Rangefinder
The Zenmuse H20N also features the same laser rangefinder from the H20 and H20T that users know and love. With a range of up to 1200m, the H20N’s laser rangefinder can be used for data collection, surveying and more.
Intelligent Features
Just like previous Zenmuse H20 series payloads, the H20N supports a variety of Intelligent Features designed to make your enterprise operations easier and more efficient. The H20N supports Intelligent Features including PinPoint for location marking and SmartTrack for easy subject tracking. You can even perform precise temperature measurements, real-time surface temperature readings and larger area readings.
Synchronised Split-Screen
A key new feature of the H20N is support for synchronised split-screen viewing on the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise. This means that users can simultaneously view synchronised live camera feeds from thermal and starlight night vision cameras, providing as much information to pilots as possible.

What is the Zenmuse H20N Compatible With?
Much like its brothers in the DJI Zenmuse H20 payload series, the H20N is designed to integrate seamlessly with the popular DJI Matrice 300 RTK enterprise drone used by professionals across different industries. It is currently unclear whether DJI intends to expand the H20N’s compatibility beyond the M300 RTK.
