Review Giveaway Terms

Two customers win AUD $100 store credit every month — one from an online purchase, one from an in-store purchase. Each published Reviews.io product review is one entry. Bought more than one product? Review each one for extra chances.

This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winners. Entry does not depend on star rating or whether a review is favourable or critical. The Promoter will not refuse, delay, or exclude an entry because of rating or sentiment. Reviews must be the entrant’s genuine experience of a product purchased from D1 Store.

1. Promoter

The promoter is D1 Store Pty Ltd (ABN 49 618 215 044) of 421 Victoria Street, Brunswick VIC 3056, Australia (“Promoter”). Contact: info@d1store.com.au / 03 9380 8588.

2. Promotion

“D1 Monthly Review Giveaway” (the “Promotion”).

3. Eligibility

  • Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
  • Entry is available to customers who make a qualifying purchase online at d1store.com.au or in a D1 Store retail location and then leave an eligible review as set out below.
  • Directors, officers, management and employees of the Promoter (and its related bodies corporate), agencies or companies associated with this Promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible.
  • The Promoter may request proof of age, identity, residency and purchase to verify eligibility.

4. Promotion Period and monthly draws

All times are the local time in Melbourne, Victoria (AEST or AEDT as applicable).

  • Promotion Period: 12:00 am Tuesday 1 September 2026 to 11:59 pm Tuesday 31 August 2027.
  • Each calendar month during the Promotion Period is a separate “Monthly Period” (the first being September 2026).
  • Reviews published outside the Promotion Period are not eligible.

5. How to enter

To receive an entry during a Monthly Period:

  • Purchase a product from the Promoter online or in-store; and
  • Leave a published Reviews.io product review of a product you purchased from the Promoter (usually via the Reviews.io invitation emailed after purchase, or from the product page on d1store.com.au).

One (1) published product review = one (1) entry into the draw for the Monthly Period in which that review is first published, and into the channel draw that matches the related order (see section 6).

If you purchased more than one product, you may receive one entry for each distinct product you review. A second review of the same product by the same customer does not receive a further entry.

Company / store reviews are not entries. Reviews on Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, or any platform other than Reviews.io product reviews are not entries.

There is no additional entry fee beyond the normal purchase price. The review itself is free. Cancelled, unpaid, fraudulent, or fully refunded products before the relevant draw are not eligible entries. Reviews that are deleted, unpublished, duplicate, fake, or not a genuine experience are void.

Reviews submitted for this Promotion may be labelled as incentivised on Reviews.io. That label does not affect whether the review is an eligible entry.

6. Online and in-store draws

  • There are two (2) draws each Monthly Period: an Online draw and an In-store draw.
  • The purchase channel on the related order decides which draw an entry enters. Orders placed on d1store.com.au (including click & collect and ship-to-store) enter the Online draw. Orders paid in a D1 Store retail location enter the In-store draw.
  • A customer who has eligible reviews from both channels in the same Monthly Period may have entries in both draws.

7. Prize

  • There will be one (1) Online winner and one (1) In-store winner each Monthly Period.
  • Each prize is AUD $100 store credit (including GST), issued as a Shopify gift card or store credit on the winner’s D1 Store customer account, at the Promoter’s election.
  • The prize is usable online at d1store.com.au and in D1 Store retail locations.
  • Store credit / gift cards remain valid for at least thirty-six (36) months from the date of issue, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Prizes are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not exchangeable for other goods, except as required by law.
  • The total prize pool for each Monthly Period is AUD $200. The total maximum prize pool for the Promotion is AUD $2,400 (being AUD $200 × twelve Monthly Periods).
  • The Promoter will issue the prize within twenty-eight (28) days of the relevant draw, after winner verification.
  • A person may win no more than one (1) prize per Monthly Period, and may win again in a later Monthly Period.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for tax implications. Winners should seek independent advice.

8. Draws

  • Winners will be selected by a random electronic draw from all eligible entries for that Monthly Period and channel.
  • Each month’s draws will be conducted on or about the first business day of the following month at 12:00 pm at the Promoter’s premises in Brunswick, Victoria.
  • The first draws (September 2026 entries) will be conducted on or about Thursday 1 October 2026 at 12:00 pm.

9. Winner notification and unclaimed prizes

  • Winners will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact details on the related order or Reviews.io review within seven (7) days of the relevant draw.
  • Winners may be published by first name and suburb on the Promoter’s website (including the Review Giveaway page) and/or social channels.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted, fails verification, or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, the Promoter may redraw from remaining eligible entries for that Monthly Period and channel.

10. Verification and disqualification

The Promoter may verify entries (including matching a review to an order) and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms, or engages in misleading, fraudulent, or unfair conduct — including reviews of products the entrant did not purchase from the Promoter.

11. Privacy

Personal information is collected to run the Promotion, notify winners, and deliver prizes, and will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to that use and to publication of your first name and suburb if you win.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited, excluded or modified. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or from acceptance or use of a prize, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. General

  • The Promoter may amend these Terms or suspend/cancel the Promotion where reasonably necessary (including for technical, security, or legal reasons), provided it does so fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Failure by the Promoter to enforce any right is not a waiver.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
