DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced is a foldable enterprise drone with a thermal camera for inspection, firefighting, and search and rescue. DJI brands it the Mavic 3TA. The thermal camera is 640 × 512 at 8 μm pixel pitch, 41.2° DFOV, and a 60 mm equivalent lens. Pair it with a 48 MP 1/2-inch wide camera and a 12 MP tele camera at 56× hybrid zoom. Thermal and tele combine for 28× split-screen zoom.

Flight time is up to 45 minutes. Hovering is 38 minutes. The airframe weighs 920 g with propellers and resists wind to 12 m/s. O3 Enterprise Transmission reaches 15 km FCC or 8 km CE. Omnidirectional binocular vision covers the airframe. Optional RTK and a loudspeaker mount on top. Together, these systems give crews a portable platform for thermal inspection and search work across large sites.

DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced uses an omnidirectional binocular vision system plus a downward infrared sensor to help avoid obstacles. Forward measurement is 0.5–20 m at up to 15 m/s. Backward is 0.5–16 m at up to 12 m/s. Lateral is 0.5–25 m at up to 15 m/s.

Upward is 0.2–10 m. Downward is 0.3–18 m. Vision needs a clear pattern and lighting above 15 lux. Hover accuracy with vision is ±0.1 m vertical / ±0.3 m horizontal; with RTK, ±0.1 m both axes.

DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced uses O3 Enterprise for a stable live view to the controller. Four antennas, two transmit and four receive (2T4R). Unobstructed range is 15 km FCC / 8 km CE. That figure is not a city guarantee. Live view on the controller is 1080p/30 fps.

The aircraft and DJI RC Pro Enterprise both support the optional DJI Cellular Dongle. 4G Enhanced Transmission works with O3 where the radio path is obstructed. AES-256 encryption is published for the video link.
