20 Mbps Live Feeds
DJI SDR Transmission supports 1080p/60fps live feeds with a bitrate of up to 20 Mbps. The higher data rate helps keep monitoring smooth during fast-moving productions.
Auto Frequency Hopping
DJI SDR Transmission can switch across 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and DFS bands automatically. That gives the link more flexibility when interference appears on set.
Unlimited Receivers
In Broadcast mode, each transmitter can connect to an unlimited number of receivers. That makes it easier for directors, clients, and crew to watch the same feed at once.
35 Ms Response
DJI SDR Transmission is measured at 35 ms latency in the source test condition for 1080p/60fps video with Broadcast mode turned off. The response feels built for live decision-making.
Metadata Transmission
DJI SDR Transmission supports metadata transmission from mainstream cinema cameras like ARRI and RED via SDI. This provides directors, cinematographers, and DIT teams with quick access to detailed shooting information in real time.
Voice Call
DJI SDR Transmission enables one-on-one real-time communication between the receiver and transmitter, allowing for seamless conversations between the cinematographer and the director or client at any time.
Compact, Lightweight, Portable
A single transmitter or receiver weighs approximately 145 g including antennas. The foldable antenna layout keeps the system portable and easier to pack between jobs.
Diverse Monitoring
DJI SDR Transmission gives crews several ways to monitor a shoot, not just one. The transmitter can send three SDR signals and two Wi-Fi signals at the same time, while the receiver can feed monitors through SDI or HDMI. That flexibility helps the system fit into both simple and more complex setups.
DJI SDR Transmission also supports USB-C output monitoring, letting the receiver connect to a smartphone or tablet with a USB-C cable for stable viewing. This makes the workflow more adaptable for crews that want a lighter monitoring setup.
App Control for the Set
DJI SDR Transmission works with the DJI Ronin app to give operators more control during monitoring. Users can switch camera indexes in Broadcast mode, record locally, review playback, and use LUT, peaking, waveform, and false colour tools from the app.
DJI SDR Transmission also supports PTP camera control for aperture, shutter, ISO, and photo or video triggering, plus CEC control for Sony cameras. That turns the system into more than a link; it becomes part of the shooting workflow.
Practical Power
Gimbal Power
When used with DJI RS 4 Pro, DJI RS 4, or DJI RS 3 Pro, the transmitter can draw power directly from the gimbal. That reduces the need for a separate battery on the rig.
NP-F Support
Both the transmitter and receiver support industry-standard NP-F batteries. The supported voltage range is 6.8 to 8.4 V.
USB-C Power
DJI SDR Transmission can be powered through a standard PD protocol charger. The USB-C power input is rated at 9 V and 2 A for flexible charging setups.
